She has taught in higher education institutions of architecture for twenty-five years, supervising architectural workshops and diplomas and teaching courses on Architectural Theory, the course Form and Urban Phenomenon and The Evaluation of Cultural Heritage and Public Policies on Heritage Valorisation at the Faculty of Architecture of the Spiru Haret University.

She is concerned with the state of the city as her interest in Bucharest manifests itself through a series of research activities, from her PhD thesis (Hotelul Urban - O propunere pentru București: valorificarea fondului construit/The Urban Hotel - A Proposal for Bucharest: The Valorisation of the Building Stock) to articles, studies and presentations about the capital’s architecture and urbanism. She remains a mindful and passionate observer of Bucharest life, being convinced that the huge potential of a city’s coherence in diversity will be valorised with intelligence and that avant-garde architecture and the respect for the past are not mutually exclusive.

She is the author of the Romanian translation of Pierre von Meiss’s book, De la formă la loc + Tectonica – o introducere în studiul arhitecturii / From Form to Place + Tectonics – An Introduction to the Study of Architecture.

Besides her personal research and activities, taking part in over forty PhD Commissions at “Ion Mincu”University of Architecture and Urban Planning has contributed to broadening the horizon as well as maintaining a constant contact with the younger generation’s new directions of interest and study.

She is an avid reader, feeling that publications, and architecture books in particular, play an essential role in shaping the necessary cultural horizon of professionals and wider audience alike.
